Ladder challenge betting: odds and risk

An all-in ladder challenge rolls your stake and winnings into the next bet. One loss wipes out the entire amount committed to the run.

1 Game time

Roll the full payout into the next bet

An all-in ladder starts with one stake. After each win, the full payout becomes the next stake. Every win increases the amount at risk; one loss ends the run. That is the setup modeled here, with no money taken out along the way.

At constant odds, the final payout can look huge. You only collect it if every bet wins. Raising the stake after a win does not improve the next pick.

2 The stat sheet

Each added bet makes the run harder to finish

Unrelated bets, constant win probability p Chance of winning n straight bets = pn

At a 55% win rate: chance of completing the run
  • 5 straight wins 5.03%
  • 7 straight wins 1.52%
  • 10 straight wins 0.25%

Odds of -110 (1.91) on every bet. A 55% win rate is assumed, not measured; outcomes are unrelated. Bars run from 0% to 100%.

At -110 (1.91), five wins multiply the opening stake by 25.4. Ten multiply it by 646.2. Those figures describe completed runs only. They leave out the stakes lost on failed attempts.

3 The replay

Earlier winnings are still at risk

The latest payout includes your opening stake and accumulated winnings. Rolling it all over puts that entire amount at risk again. Restarting after a loss takes a fresh opening stake, so failed attempts add to the cost.

Key takeaway

A winning run on display tells you nothing about how many attempts failed before it.

Switching sides

A larger bankroll, without going all-in

Prime Sports Funded's staking rules do not allow this ladder. Each stake must stay between 2% and 5% of the starting bankroll, as checked on October 3, 2026. The alternative modeled here uses flat stakes on a larger bankroll. It does not change your edge over the odds.

Same win rate, different targets
  • Ladder: 5 straight wins 5.03%
  • Prime Sports Funded: reach +35% 72%

Steady profile: 55% of bets won, odds of -110 (1.91). PSF: flat stakes, +35% before −20%, no deadline. Other constraints are not modeled: see the assumptions below.

The ladder aims to multiply the stake by 25.4. The funded challenge targets +35% of the starting bankroll with flat 2% stakes and allows losses between wins. These bars do not compare the chances of winning the same amount.

Getting funded has a cost too

PSF uses a simulated bankroll, displayed in dollars. Its challenge also imposes loss limits and requires at least 25 evaluation bets. The model leaves out some constraints; it does not predict your outcome.

Real cost divides the entry price by the modeled chance of getting funded, accounting for failed challenges. This list covers flat-stake evaluations, not ladders. Amounts stay in each operator's currency, with no conversion or ranking across currencies.

How we calculate
  • Three profiles: 54% of bets won and 2 bets a day; 55% and 3; 57% and 4.
  • Each operator is modeled at the stake that gives it the best chance, within its allowed range.
  • Time-limited challenge: the number of bets is capped by the profile's pace.
  • Several phases: the chances multiply.
  • Not simulated: daily loss limits, minimum number of bets, activity targets, consistency rules.
  • Bankroll U is taken at its Combine, the lowest real cost among the offers considered for this matchup, on the steady profile. Five levels: not ranked (higher real cost on the steady profile).
  • Bankroll U: Combine only, which opens the Rookie level at 10% of profits.
  • Fan Funded is taken at its 3 Step, the lowest real cost among the offers considered for this matchup, on the steady profile. 2 Step: not ranked (higher real cost on the steady profile). Blitz: not ranked (too close to call: the gap depends on the exchange rate).
  • GetBet Funded: price shown with the operator's 20% discount, no published end date.
  • Prime Sports Funded price with code PROMO25.
  • Amounts are shown in each operator's own currency, with no conversion. Operators are not ranked across currencies.
  • The math holds for these profiles, not for every bettor.

Frequently asked questions

How do you calculate the chance of completing a ladder?

If each bet has the same win probability p and the outcomes are unrelated, the chance of winning n straight bets is p to the power of n. This assumes a known, constant win rate. It does not measure your actual betting performance.

What do you lose when one bet fails?

In an all-in ladder, you roll over everything: your opening stake and all accumulated winnings. One loss wipes out that entire amount. Cashing out part of the winnings changes the setup, so the figures in this guide no longer apply.

Can you run a ladder challenge at Prime Sports Funded?

No. This ladder puts the whole return at risk on each bet. Prime Sports Funded requires stakes between 2% and 5% of the starting bankroll. This guide presents a different approach: flat stakes on a larger bankroll.

Do flat stakes guarantee a profit?

No. They cap the amount risked on each bet, but create no edge over the odds. Challenge probabilities are model outputs, not observed pass rates. Losses remain possible, and a failed challenge still costs the entry price.

The verdict

Check the rules before choosing a bankroll

The 5,000 challenge costs €81.75 with code PROMO25, rather than €109. That price buys an evaluation, not a promised profit.
